These Terms of Sale and Delivery apply to orders for products and services placed through ErgoFinland Oy's online store and other sales channels.

These terms apply to both consumer customers and business customers unless otherwise expressly stated in an individual section.

Consumer sales are always subject to the mandatory provisions of Finnish consumer protection legislation. These terms do not restrict any rights granted to consumers by law.

2. Products, product information and prices

The main characteristics, prices and other product-specific information are stated in the online store in connection with each product.

Where applicable, prices are displayed both including and excluding value added tax.

The price stated at the time the order is placed applies to the order.

ErgoFinland Oy reserves the right to change prices, the product range, delivery charges and product information before a new order is placed. Such changes do not affect agreements that have already been concluded.

If the online store contains an obvious and material pricing or typographical error which, in the circumstances, the customer should reasonably have understood to be an error, the matter will be assessed in accordance with applicable legislation.

3. Placing an order and conclusion of the agreement

The customer places an order in the online store by approving the order and the associated obligation to pay.

The agreement is concluded when ErgoFinland Oy has accepted the order and sent an order confirmation to the customer.

Before confirming an order, ErgoFinland Oy may decline to accept it for a justified reason, for example due to product availability or clearly incorrect order information.

The order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the customer.

4. Payment methods

Available payment methods and any payment-method-specific costs are stated in the online store before the order is placed.

The separate terms of the payment service provider or financing provider may also apply to the relevant service.

The terms of a payment service provider do not limit ErgoFinland Oy's statutory obligations as the seller.

5. Delivery methods and delivery charges

Available delivery methods and their costs are stated to the customer before the order is confirmed.

Delivery charges are added to the total amount of the order before the order is approved unless delivery is expressly stated to be included in the product price.

ErgoFinland Oy may deliver an order in several separate shipments provided that this does not result in additional costs or unreasonable inconvenience to the customer.

6. Delivery time and delayed delivery

The product-specific delivery time or estimated delivery time is stated, where possible, in connection with the product or in the order confirmation.

The typical delivery time for products in stock is approximately 2–5 business days within Finland and approximately 7–15 business days to other EU countries unless a different delivery time is stated for the product.

If no specific delivery time has been agreed, goods purchased by a consumer will be delivered without undue delay and no later than within the period required by law.

The consumer's rights in the event of delayed delivery are determined in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

For business customers, delivery times are estimates unless a binding delivery time has been specifically agreed in writing.

7. Consumer right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract concluded through the online store within 14 days without giving a specific reason.

For the sale of goods, the withdrawal period begins when the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer has received the goods.

If goods included in the same order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when the last item or batch has been received.

The consumer may submit a notice of withdrawal through the withdrawal function available in the online store or by another unambiguous method, for example by email to myynti@ergofinland.fi.

Simply returning the goods or failing to collect a shipment does not in itself constitute a notice of withdrawal.

8. Returning goods

Following withdrawal, the goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the notice of withdrawal has been submitted.

Return address:

ErgoFinland Oy
Linnanherrankuja 16
00950 Helsinki
Finland

The consumer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods when exercising the right of withdrawal unless ErgoFinland Oy has expressly agreed to bear these costs.

The consumer may inspect the goods in the same manner as would be possible in a physical store.

If the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, and their value has consequently decreased, the consumer is liable for the reduction in value in accordance with applicable law.

Opening the original packaging does not in itself remove the consumer's right of withdrawal.

9. Refunds

ErgoFinland Oy will refund payments received from the consumer within the period required by law after receiving the notice of withdrawal.

ErgoFinland Oy may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or the consumer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back.

The consumer will also be refunded the cost of the original delivery up to the amount corresponding to ErgoFinland Oy's least expensive standard delivery method.

If the consumer selected a more expensive delivery method, the additional delivery cost does not have to be refunded.

The refund will generally be made using the same payment method that was used for the original payment unless the consumer has expressly agreed to another refund method that does not incur additional costs.

10. Limitations on the right of withdrawal

A consumer's right of withdrawal may only be restricted in the circumstances provided for by law.

For example, there is no right of withdrawal for a product manufactured or substantially modified according to the consumer's individual requirements or clearly personalised to meet the consumer's personal needs.

The fact that an Outlet product, discounted product, demonstration product or used product is sold at a reduced price does not in itself remove the consumer's statutory right of withdrawal from an online purchase.

11. Uncollected shipments

Failure to collect a shipment is not the same as withdrawing from the agreement.

If a consumer fails to collect a shipment without submitting a notice of withdrawal, ErgoFinland Oy may, within the limits permitted by law, claim compensation for the actual and direct costs caused by this.

12. Statutory liability for defects and complaints

In consumer sales, ErgoFinland Oy is responsible for defects in the goods it sells in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

Statutory liability for defects is separate from a commercial warranty.

Statutory liability for defects may apply even if no commercial warranty has been provided for the product or if the commercial warranty period has already expired.

The consumer must notify the seller of a defect within a reasonable period after discovering the defect or after the defect should have been discovered. However, a notice of defect may always be made within two months after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered.

We recommend submitting a complaint as soon as possible to facilitate investigation of the matter.

If the goods are found to have a defect for which ErgoFinland Oy is responsible, the defect will be remedied without cost to the consumer in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

13. Commercial warranty

Any commercial warranty provided for a product is a voluntary additional benefit in addition to statutory liability for defects.

The product-specific commercial warranty, warranty provider, warranty period and essential warranty terms are stated separately for each product.

A commercial warranty does not restrict the consumer's statutory rights.

The expiry of the warranty period does not automatically mean that ErgoFinland Oy's statutory liability for defects has ended.

14. Outlet products

The Outlet range may include, for example, new products from discontinued batches, discontinued models, demonstration products, customer returns, individual units or other used products or products that are no longer part of the regular product range.

The condition of each Outlet product and any known material signs of use, shortcomings or characteristics that differ from the normal product are described as accurately as possible on the relevant product page.

Commercial warranties for Outlet products are product-specific.

If no separate commercial warranty is stated for an Outlet product, ErgoFinland Oy does not provide a separate commercial warranty for that product.

This does not restrict the consumer's statutory liability rights under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

15. Business customers

Business customers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal or return in distance sales.

Returns from business customers are accepted only where separately agreed with ErgoFinland Oy.

The business customer must inspect the delivery within an appropriate period after receipt and notify ErgoFinland Oy of any detected defect or deficiency without undue delay.

Any commercial warranty provided to a business customer is determined by the information stated in connection with the product, in the quotation, order confirmation or separate warranty terms.

In business-to-business sales, liability for defects is governed by the agreement between the parties, these terms and, where applicable, the Finnish Sale of Goods Act.

16. Force majeure

ErgoFinland Oy is not responsible for delay or failure to perform a contractual obligation to the extent that this results from an unforeseeable circumstance beyond the company's reasonable control which cannot reasonably be avoided or overcome.

In consumer sales, this provision does not restrict any rights granted to the consumer by mandatory legislation.

17. Dispute resolution and applicable law

The agreements are governed by Finnish law.

If a dispute between a consumer and ErgoFinland Oy cannot be resolved through negotiations, the consumer may contact the Consumer Advisory Services of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.

If the matter cannot be resolved with the assistance of Consumer Advisory Services, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board.

Disputes between business customers and ErgoFinland Oy will primarily be resolved through negotiations and, if no resolution can be reached, by the District Court of Helsinki unless otherwise agreed in writing.

18. Personal data

ErgoFinland Oy processes personal data in accordance with its current privacy policy and applicable data protection legislation.

19. Validity of these terms

These terms are valid from 30 September 2026.

Each order is subject to the Terms of Sale and Delivery that were in force at the time the agreement was concluded.
